The Palo Alto Adult School ESL program offers many classes to help you meet your English learning goals.

  • To enter our free classes, new students must register for a placement test.
  • Testing and classes are free.
  • There is no childcare for the test or the classes.

call (650) 329-3752 to make an appointment to take a placement test.

TIME:  6:30-9:30 p.m.

  • Tuesday, October 10
  • Tuesday, October17

Site 1: Greendell School:
— Literacy through Advanced Low Levels (Monday – Thursday 9 a.m.-12 Noon)
Site 2: Escondido Village, Stanford:
— Intermediate Level (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9 a.m.-12 Noon)

AFTERNOON CLASSES
Site 1: Greendell School:
— Pre-Literacy (Monday and Wednesday 1-3 p.m.)
— Advanced Low Level (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 12:30-3:30 p.m.)

EVENING CLASSES
Site 3: Palo Alto High School:
–Literacy through Advanced Low Levels (Monday and Wednesday 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.)

ADVANCED LEVEL and ADDITIONAL SKILL-SPECIFIC CLASSES

ENROLLMENT POLICIES

• Students must be able to attend the full 8 weeks.
• Students will be required to buy a textbook for the class.
• Students who leave before the end of the session may not return until the next session, and they must pay a $20 re-entry fee.
• There is no childcare.
