55 Plus (Older Adults)
The Palo Alto Adult School older adult program for individuals 55 years of age or older is growing as the community population ages. Our course offerings for older adults vary widely based on interest and demand. In partnership with the Avenidas Senior center, many of our basic computer training classes are held at the Avenidas facility at 450 Bryant Street in Palo Alto or online at www.avenidas.org.
We also offer a day of education for seniors at Senior Friendship Day at Cubberley Community Center. Co-sponsored by Avenidas, the City of Palo Alto and Palo Alto Adult School, the program brings seniors together for arts, crafts, education, exercise and information every Wednesday.
