New Instructors Welcome

Do you have a passion you’d like to share? New teachers are always welcome at Palo Alto Adult School. We take pride in our program offerings and continue to look for innovative classes to add to our curriculum. High quality instruction is a trademark of Palo Alto Adult School.

Teachers holding a California state teaching credential may apply to teach our state-supported classes. Information about adult credentials is available at: http://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/CREDS/adult-voc-ed.html.

ESL teacher/substitutes applications are also being accepted at this time.

Proposals are now being accepted for new community interest classes. These classes are supported by student enrollment fees and do not require California state teaching credentials. However, instructors must demonstrate experience in their field and in teaching.

We are looking for new 2021 instructors to teach the following:

  • Computer Programming / Coding
  • Cooking Instructors (All American Cooking)
  • Digital Media
  • English as a Second Language (ESL)
    NOTE: To teach ESL classes, current California Teaching Credential is required.
    ESL teacher/substitutes applications are also being accepted at this time.
