BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS

Business Communications emphasizes the English skills needed to communicate effectively in the American workplace. These include interpersonal, non-verbal, common business jargon, listening and oral presentation skills. The class also covers changing digital capabilities,  common business platforms, adaptive listening, storytelling with data and presentation writing. Students will have opportunities to practice during class. These topics reflect current input provided by private industry, law firms, and technical business. (Workday, Facebook, Hitachi Ventara, Microsoft, Sales Force, Google and others.)
