During the current Covid-19 period, this class is being held LIVE ONLINE via Zoom.

Bring your field sketches or photos from your favorite places, vacations and convert them into a work of art in an impressionistic style. You will focus on all the important elements of picture making; techniques, perspective, design, composition, color theory. You will also cover how to do essential parts of your art piece, buildings, boats, trees, cars, figures etc. Please have your materials and reference photos (landscapes, water scenes, cityscapes, etc.) ready. We will discuss details in the first class.

    • Landscape with buildings (barns, lighthouse, farmhouse etc.)
    • Forest scenes with trails
    • Waterscape (rivers, lakes, ocean, harbor scenes)
    • Cityscape
