This class is ideal for students who want to improve their English skills while becoming familiar with many interesting aspects of US history and culture.
We address why Americans think and behave the way they do and the foundation for some of their attitudes and values such as the importance of competition and hard work.
Reading, vocabulary improvement, pronunciation, language usage, and a greater understanding of American culture and history are incorporated into each class.
Required textbook may be purchased at the Adult School office or online.
