SEWING: HEMMING AND MENDING

Learn some basic clothing fixes! In the first class we will learn how to hem jeans, pants and skirts/ dresses using a sewing machine or (if you like a challenge) by hand. In the second class we will focus on visible mending techniques using Sashiko stitching. You do not need your own sewing machine and previous experience is not required. A supplies list will be sent out 2 weeks before the start of the class. There will be a $5 materials fee payable to the instructor at the first class meeting. Limit 20 students.
