WOODWORKING 2: JOINERY WITH POWER TOOLS

Learn how to create a miter joint, and finger-lap joint, and a dovetail joint using power tools and jigs. You will have the opportunity to review and expand upon skills learned in Woodworking 1. The class will focus on safety, joinery using power tools, and understanding the medium of wood. You will build a few small boxes using the techniques learned in class. Tools covered will include the jointer, planer, bandsaw, table saw, handheld router, and router table. There will be a materials fee of $80 payable to the instructor at the first class meeting.
