Kathy Woveris was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Kathy studied classical piano lessons at The Eggert Academy of Music where she received her Master’s Degree in piano beginning at the age of 10 years old and continued thru high school. Kathy not only loved the piano but also studied French Horn and participated in a marching band and the Morton High School orchestra.

After moving to California, an old Thomas organ that was added to the music room and a love for the organ began. Studying with professional organists Bill Thompson a theater organist; Jim Rosey a San Francisco pop piano teacher, Marion Ritchie and classical piano teacher Daniel Harrison a new world of popular music began and continues to this day. Kathy teaches students in her home studio and continues to study classical piano and organ with local professionals
