FESTIVAL PROJECT — WHAT CAN WE HONOR AND CELEBRATE THIS SEASON?

In this fun and engaging class, students will learn about many different festivals around the world. Working in small groups, students will then create their own new festival to honor a thing, person or event that is worth celebrating. In this course, students will create rituals, develop a budget and practice using electronic presentation tools. They will also learn how to read recipes and will develop their own recipe for the festival. Students will improve their English speaking and presentation skills, and their reading and writing skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.
