Eve Sutton

As a versatile educator in PAUSD, Eve Sutton has taught every kind of Special Education for ages 3-22; General Education for TK, K-12, and Adult School; and Professional Development. This quarter she is offering two new Adult School courses for Community Education, General Interest.

Eve’s new course in Braille and American Sign Language is designed for school employees and parents. Activities will focus on promoting Braille literacy using a Braille frame and stylus (strengthening the right-left brain functions, as the dots are  manually punched in reverse), and streamlining the use of ASL for simplified communication with non-verbal students.

Poetry in Translation promises all new lessons. Even if you attended Eve’s Adult School poetry class every Thursday for ten years, or had poetry lessons during your ESL classes with Eve at Greendell or Paly, you will get new poems and translation techniques each week.
