This course helps students prepare for all aspects of the U.S. Citizenship interview, including the 100 government and history questions (civics test), questions about the N-400 application (speaking test), and the reading and writing tests. The class is taught at an intermediate level and is designed for lawful permanent residents who will be applying for U.S. citizenship within the next year. It is open enrollment and new students are welcome to start any time. Textbook: Optional – Voices of Freedom by Bliss, Fifth Edition. Students may borrow the textbook from the adult school office after the first class meeting.
