BABY SIGN LANGUAGE (**NEW**)

Help your baby communicate with you before they can talk! Baby signs is an easy and fun way to communicate and connect with your baby that also helps them: build stronger brains, learn spoken language(s) earlier, and better interact with you and their world before they can talk. No prior knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) needed. You are welcome (and encouraged!) to bring your little one to class. Target age range from birth to early walkers.

Your baby is already trying to communicate with you—give them the tools to do so more clearly before they are able to talk. Signing with your baby makes figuring out what they like, need, want, etc… a lot easier, and it helps reduce frustration for everyone involved.

In each class we will learn signs related to a specific theme, as well as sing songs, play games, and read books related to the day’s theme. These examples and activities will give practical ways to immediately incorporate the signs we learn into your everyday life. The themes and activities are based on the things your little one is already encountering, the books you’re already reading, and the activities you’re already doing.

We will: discuss the benefits of signing with your baby; learn hundreds of ASL signs to use with your little one; and share practical tips, tricks, and examples to use Baby Signs in your everyday life.
