In today’s world, whether for business, school or personal matters, much of our written communication is done via emails. This class shows you the rules of writing direct, clear and concise emails.
Section A (Email Writing) explains the basics of email writing and will cover such important writing principals as coherence, cohesion, and unity.
Section B (Email Formatting) covers how different types of emails have different requirements and what those are (persuasive, bad news and thank you/goodwill).
The first and third class will mostly be instructions, and the second and fourth class mostly practice where students can bring in their samples for the class to give feedback.
