FIX YOUR CLOTHES! HEMMING AND MENDING

Learn some basic clothing fixes. In the first class we will learn how to hem pants, jeans and skirts/ dresses using a sewing machine and (optional!) by hand if you like a challenge. In the second class, we will focus on mending techniques, using the sewing machine where possible, and by hand. We will teach you some visible mending and some Sashiko. You do not need your own sewing machine and previous experience is not required. There will be a $5 materials fee payable to the instructor at the first class meeting. Limit 16 students.
