GUITAR: INTERMEDIATE New Class

This class is for those who can play some chords and would like to learn how to fingerpick the guitar. You will learn right hand techniques, how to read standard notation for the guitar as well as tablature. Some music theory will be discussed. This class is designed to give you the skills to continue studying on your own or with a teacher. Please bring an acoustic guitar to class, nylon string guitars are preferred. Textbook: Aaron Schearer – Classical Guitar Technique – Vol1 (optional). Limit 12 students.

Prerequisite: Beginning Guitar or equivalent. Ability to play some chords, another instrument, or basic understanding of rhythms and musical notation.
