Most ESL learners make mistakes when using English prepositions, modals and conditionals, articles, quantifiers and determiners, subject-verb conjugations and gerunds and infinitives in conversation. The class will analyze each of the above grammar topics and students will notice how to use it correctly. This is a conversation heavy class and students must be willing and able to participate in extended conversations without limiting themselves to yes/no responses.
No textbook.
Prerequisite: For advanced ESL Learners who can understand common expressions, communicate easily about routine tasks, describe personal background, and are not limited to yes/no responses. Students must be willing and able to participate in extended conversations.
