POETRY IN TRANSLATION

Are you eager to see how poems keep or change their meaning in other languages? Beautiful poems in Spanish, French, German, Italian and other languages can keep much of their magic with faithful translations. We will start with a poem by Rumi, translated from the original Persian (Farsi) to English, and then translate it to other languages.

Prerequisite: Open to all students including Advanced English language learners.
