The Palo Alto Adult School ESL program offers many classes to help you meet your English learning goals. During the current Covid-19 quarantine, many of our classes are being held ONLINE. If you have questions, or need more information, please send an email to adultschool@pausd.org
The Palo Alto Adult School ESL program offers many classes to help you meet your English learning goals. To enter our free classes, new students must register for a placement test. There is no childcare for the test or the classes. To register for the placement test, come in to the Greendell ESL office at 4120 Middlefield Road, room P10, or the Palo Alto High School Adult School office at 50 Embarcadero Road.
**Students who are not registered to take the placement test will not be allowed to take the test.**

MORNING CLASSES
Site 1: Greendell School:
— Literacy through Advanced Low Levels (Monday – Thursday 9 a.m.-12 Noon)
Site 2: Escondido Village, Stanford:
— Advanced Level (Monday – Thursday 9 a.m.-12 Noon)
AFTERNOON CLASSES
Site 1: Greendell School:
— Pre-Literacy (Monday and Wednesday 1-3 p.m.)
— Advanced Low Level (Monday – Thursday 12:30-3:30 p.m.)
EVENING CLASSES (6:30 – 9:30 p.m.)
Site 3: Palo Alto High School:
— Literacy (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday)
— Literacy through Advanced Low Levels (Monday and Wednesday)
