What is American Culture? Come join a lively conversation class that can help you better understand what makes American culture unique, and how US culture and history has been shaped by immigration from cultures all over the world.
This class is ideal for students who want to improve their English conversation skills while becoming familiar with many interesting aspects of US culture and history.
We address why Americans think and behave the way they do and the foundation for some of their attitudes and values such as the importance of competition and hard work.
Reading, vocabulary improvement, pronunciation, language usage, and a greater understanding of American culture and history are incorporated into each class.
Required textbook can be purchased in the Adult School office.
