WOODTURNING: SPATULAS New Class

Turn (and sand) 2 bespoke wooden spatulas out of cherry—useful food-safe kitchen accessories that won’t scratch your pans. You’ll turn an uneven surface with spindle tools and then finish shaping with a disc sander on the lathe. Dust masks are highly recommended. There will be a $20 materials fee payable to the instructor at the first class meeting. Face shields will be provided (you are also welcome to bring your own if you have one) and it is recommended you bring at least an N95 mask for sawdust. If class registration is full, please join the waitlist so you can be notified if more openings become available. Limit 6 students.
