Build a Ming Style Plant Stand as described in the April 1994 issue of the American Woodworker magazine. This is a rare opportunity to work on an award winning project with the author and designer, Master Yeung Chan. The project features a number of different joinery techniques, including Tongue and Groove, Mortise and Tenon, Picture Frame Miter, and Three-Way Miter. You will learn to use the Hollow chisel mortising machine, Router table, and various jigs on the Table Saw to make accurate cuts. There will be a material fee (TBD) payable on the first day of class to cover the cost of wood and consumables.
