WOODWORKING 2 PROJECT: EDGE-GRAIN CUTTING BOARD (Fall 2024)

What do you do with all the cut-offs you have from your projects? If you are like me, you put them in a box with the intention of finding a use for them. This 2-session class finds the perfect use for the cut-offs! You will sort through boxes of cut-offs to make a gorgeous cutting board. In the first class, you will mill scraps to be flat and square (i.e., S3S) and do a classic glue-up. in the second class, you will take the ugly glue-ups and transform them into a breathtaking cutting board! The exact dimensions of the cutting board is flexible…depends on the scraps you can find in my boxes of cut-offs! There will be a $25 materials fee payable to the instructor at the first class meeting.
