WOODWORKING: INTRO TO HYBRID WOODWORKING

Learn to use handtools such as chisel, plane and saw to augment your skills and refine your projects. Sharpening will be taught. Small projects will emphasize skill building with a final project of making a tool box. Students will need to purchase their own set of tools to use in class and keep for themselves. Hybrid woodworking is defined as using both power tools and hand tools in harmony — this class will focus on the handtools portion of hybrid woodworking.
