Make and properly can fresh fruit jam using summer berries or stone fruits (such as apricots or plums).  Participants will take home one sealed jar of jam — and recipes!

Topics include:

  • Sourcing bulk fresh berries or stone fruit
  • The role of pectin
  • Preparing the fruit and jars
  • Cooking and canning the jam to be shelf-stable.
