Participants will make and properly can fresh fruit jam using summer berries or stone fruits (such as apricots or plums).

Participants will take home one sealed jar of jam and recipes.

Topics include:

  • Sourcing bulk fresh berries or stone fruit
  • The role of pectin
  • Preparing the fruit and jars
  • Cooking and canning the jam to be shelf-stable.
