This class is ideal for students who want to improve their English skills while becoming familiar with many interesting aspects of US History and culture. We address why Americans think and behave the way they do and the foundation for some of their attitudes and values such as the importance of competition and hard work. Now I can use the concept of self reliance to explain why billionaires and homeless people coexist in San Francisco, and I can understand how Individual freedom allows American women to wear leggings all day long.
