WOODWORKING 3: ADVANCED WOODWORKING TECHNIQUES

Come work on your own project, while learning setup and techniques for power tools and hand tools! This class includes short tutorials as well as open shop time to work on your personal project under supervision. After successfully completing the guided projects from Wood 1 & Wood 2, you can work on a personal project and become proficient at machine setup and operation on your own. Additionally, this class will address routine care and maintenance of power tools and hand tools. Short tutorials on skills, techniques, and safety will be given as opportunities present themselves. Come learn about power tools beyond the basics, as well as hand tool usage to improve your work. Students supply their own materials. Storage space for projects is available during the quarter.
